It’s gallery delivery day!!! The day you and your spouse have been looking forward to for since the day you said “I do.” You are overflowing with excitement and are going to love looking through all the photos over and over again – as your wedding photographer, I want to help you make the most out of your wedding photos once you receive your gallery! This special day deserves to exist outside of your screen, so you can relive the joy of your wedding day for years to come. I’m sharing my favorite 6 ways to enjoy your photos both online and offline.

Enjoy these photos from Hannah and Brandon’s beautiful spring wedding in Bardstown, KY!

Gallery delivery day is always so fun for me – I imagine you both as newlyweds snuggling on the couch with a special dinner (maybe even that top layer of wedding cake) viewing the full wedding gallery for the first time together. Plan a special date night to reminisce about your wedding and with each image, be transported right back into one of the best days of your lives. It’s so special to see all the photos of not only you two, but your families and friends laughing, dancing, and making memories together. There are so many moments that you as a couple DON’T see unfold on your wedding day, so getting to see the complete picture of your day from multiple perspectives is one of the most special parts of seeing your wedding photos!

Remember to share your gallery with your guests! All my clients get a shareable link for guests to view the gallery that you can easily share on your wedding website, social media, email, or group chat.

Don’t want to share *every* single photo with the general public? I get it! Clients have the ability to hide specific photos or sections, so your guests will only see what you want them to see. Especially if you had any friends or family who couldn’t make it to your wedding, sharing the gallery link allows them to still be part of your day.

Prints and albums are beautiful keepsakes to reminisce and pass down, but they are also wonderful reminders of the love and support that surrounds you, a reminder of the commitment you and your spouse made to each other, and if you decide to grow your family, inspiration to your children of the kind of relationship they want to find someday.

You are going to be the MOST excited and know your top favorite images when you first go through your gallery! If you plan to order prints or albums (or have them included with your wedding package like many of my clients do), you can use the heart icon to mark your absolute favorites for later.

I custom design albums for my clients, so if you’d like me to use your favorite photos and artistically arrange it into an album for you, email me to get the process started! You and your guests can also order high-quality prints directly through my professional lab via the gallery store.

How often do most couples or families you know get to have a nice photo of themselves? An increasingly popular thank you card idea – using one of your favorite wedding photos, or even printing individual family or guest photos inside each thank you card as a keepsake. My husband and I did this after our intimate wedding ceremony, and our guests loved having a printed photo from the wedding that they can frame! We included one group photo and a photo of each couple or family.

Writing 5 star reviews with images from your wedding day helps small businesses grow in ways you can’t imagine! It would mean the world to all your vendors if you left a review with 1-5 photos from your wedding day with a description of how they went above and beyond to make your wedding day a dream come true. This helps other couples to find their dream vendors and to see an image of what their wedding photos could look like!

PS – my clients can leave me a review on Google at this link.

I always love to see people use their wedding photos for anniversary posts, birthday shout outs, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day posts, in photo collages, and more. It means so much to see couples from 4+ years ago still have one of their favorites from the wedding day as their profile picture, phone wallpaper, or desktop background.

I hope this post has been a helpful guide to get the most out of your wedding photos for years to come. What other ways do you have to enjoy your wedding photos? Drop me a comment below.
