I am thrilled to share this winter engagement session on the blog – it was truly one of my favorites with such a unique theme. Jared and Matt are such a sweet couple, they are both so shy but at the same time so fun!
Louisville Waterfront Park Winter Engagement Photos
Since Matt and Jared got engaged at a Christmas tree farm and are having a December wedding, they wanted to incorporate some of these holiday themed elements into their engagement photos.
The evergreen trees near Louisville Waterfront Park and their flannel shirts are a nod to their winter engagement theme. Photos like these just make me feel so cozy, even if it was a little cold outside.
Editorial Engagement Session at the Brown Hotel
Afterwards, we went to the Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville, where they will have their wedding this December! Editorial hotel engagement sessions are trending right now, and it’s definitely going to be on your list to try after you see how handsome Matt and Jared both look.
Couple goals, suit inspiration and color palette dreams all in one – this is a fantastic example of elevated style. Their neutral colored outfits made them stand out against the colorful, textured walls of the historic Brown Hotel.
One fun fact I learned is that these two are AMAZING chess players…actually just kidding, this part was staged! But they look like they know what they’re doing, don’t they? Anything that adds a little fun and creativity to a session is always a good idea.
I probably could have kept taking photos all day of Matt and Jared, but I’m looking forward to heading back at the Brown Hotel for their winter wedding in December!
